Volunteers and interns are a key part of our agency.
We are in need of caring and reliable volunteers to work directly with families and kids. Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to; storytelling, childcare, preparing materials for home visits, receptionist duties, setting up for events or starting a diaper or book drive. We welcome volunteers of all ages—if under age 18, parental consent is required. We also have two programs that qualify for student internships.
Last year, 59 volunteers/interns donated over 22,000 hours of their time to helping families.
Apply to be a Volunteer or Intern
If you have any questions about our volunteer/internship program, please call or email Claudia Donnelly, Director of Quality & Evaluation, at 719.586.8629 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Complete the application online and someone will follow up with you. For volunteers who are going to work with children or confidential records, further documentation will be needed. To ensure the safety of our families, a background check is completed for all volunteers. You will be matched with a supervisor and given proper training in order to complete your service.
