The Immigration Services Office of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Pueblo gives immigrants assistance on immigration family law. We receive seven to ten new clients a day, including scheduled appointments and walk-in clients, and we maintain about 360 active cases at a time.
This year, we have successfully obtained 34 green cards and 21 citizenship certificates for our clients. Also, during this period we have started working with immigrants who are victims of domestic abuse. We also offer ESL and citizenship classes in collaboration with the Pueblo City County Library and the Housing Authority.
The Diocese of Pueblo remains dedicated to the immigrant community and to helping the Immigration Services Office with these accomplishments.
