Our Vision
Inspired by God’s love, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pueblo collaborates with community partners to serve the people of Southern and Western Colorado that they may live whole and healthy lives.
Every year, 6,500 people walk through the doors of Catholic Charities in search of help, hope and ways to strengthen their lives and the lives of their families. Together we heal wounds, build families and communities, and celebrate our universal humanity. We follow in the footsteps of the prophets, constantly reminded that we are all children of one God.
Whether we are helping people meet their most basic needs or advocating for social change to reduce poverty in Colorado, our Catholic values, teachings, and traditions provide the foundation for the work we do in Catholic Charities. We are called to witness the love of God through compassionate care of all God’s children and to work prophetically, as Jesus did in his time, to build a more just and equitable society.
