
Money Management, Budget Counseling and Bill Payer Services
Services include:
- Conservatorship, Payee and Custodian Services insure that the clients whose funds CCDP manages are able to meet their monthly financial obligations and are kept informed about their finances. A secondary goal of this program is to provide socialization to our clients who are often isolated due to their mental or physical disabilities. Regular social contact is maintained either through the telephone, home visits or office visits.
- Budget Counseling helps people assess their monthly income and expenses and establish a realistic monthly budget. Caseworkers contact creditors to work out payment plans; FCC pays creditors directly.
- Bill Payer Service is an in-home program to assist elderly and disabled persons write their checks in order to pay bills and maintain their independence in their home. Most referrals come from SRDA and SET; FCC works closely with both agencies to coordinate clients services.
